At a time when societal instability seems to accompany every conversation having to do with politics, why does the left feel the need to incite violence by proxy through ANTIFA and other radical leftist groups? The media also plays a massive role in pushing the agenda of the left, by painting targets on their political opponents using subjective language and vague connections. This helps to create a fictional narrative that distracts from the many issues created by democrat policies. As with the current protests that have broken out in recent weeks over George Floyd’s death, the left seized on the opportunity to blame conservatives, while neglecting to tell you that these areas are all controlled by Democrats. The reason is they don’t want Americans knowing that their policies have created dystopian islands (inner cities) that prevent minorities from leaving due to poverty. Thus, creating wage disparity and the need for more government assistance. It also creates areas where drugs and crime are higher than the national average. Therefore, police are utilized more in certain regions. Now that the protests have morphed into riots, these areas were the first to experience social unrest.
This brings me to the current defund police movement and why it is such a bad idea. It is funny seeing the left do mental gymnastics trying to distract from the real purpose of the defund police campaign. The end goal of this whole movement is to institute a national police force, one controlled by the federal government that usurps states’ rights.

This will end miserably not only due to the immense bureaucracy that suffocates any productive changes from occurring, but also the recent events where democrats have shown little regard for the safety of innocent civilians and private property while letting the rioters run rampant destroying peoples livelihood. It is not only reckless but immature and shows a lack of foresight on the part of the left. As a policy, it misrepresents the overwhelming majority of police officers that do a fantastic job every day, and it will create a scenario where officers won’t do their job for fear of persecution through political correctness and possible civil and criminal prosecution. If you do not believe me, look no further than the mass resignations taking place in Atlanta, South Florida, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, etc., where democrats have chosen to pander for political gain and not support the police. So, let us dispense with the BS calling this a conservative issue, this is all on the left, and they will pay a significant political price for this. Conservatives recognize the problems that face our country but will not destroy the barriers that prevent the government from instituting unjust policies on every American citizen for political purposes. We also recognize that you can’t have real reform without law and order.
