In a somewhat surprising chain of events, reports have come to light illustrating John Brennan’s role in spying on President Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. It is also worth noting that John Brennan lied in sworn testimony about relying on the phony Steele dossier in the ICA report on Russian collusion during the 2016 election. He told Trey Gowdy during testimony that in no way did they rely on the dossier, and that it was not part of the Corpus of intelligence used when generating the Intelligence Community Assessment. Yet recently released information states that the CIA director was very involved in investigating the Trump campaign well before the FBI probe launched in July 2016.

In developing news, CIA Director John Brennan ran a secret spy operation with its own separate funding, to investigate the Trump campaign. Why is this significant? Brennan’s excuse has been that the information received by the CIA was forwarded to the FBI because it’s illegal for them to spy on American citizens. Therefore he wasn’t involved. Brennan also said when learning about the information, he rushed to inform Obama on July 28, 2016, that Putin had authorized an operation to hurt Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Additionally, on July 28, 2016, Lisa Page says the FBI first learned about the dossier. When also asked about the CIA receiving the information on the same day, it was forwarded to the FBI. Page stated, if the CIA had those same reports, I am not aware of that, and I don’t believe they provide it to us, which would be very unusual.
To get around the illegality of spying on an American citizen, Brennan used foreign assets in an orchestrated operation to back feed information to himself. Stefan Halper and Christopher Steele were tasked with developing a dossier which could then be forwarded to the FBI. By using foreign persons or governments (Five Eyes nations), Brennan could launder the dossier’s information without leaving his fingerprints on it. When questioned about the Steele Dossier, Brennan stated that he only heard snippets and never saw it until December, after the election. The dossier was not used in the Intelligence Community Assessment. We know this to be a lie because he also briefed Harry Reid about the information in August 2016.
Something else no one wants to mention is Obama’s involvement in the operation. As a high-level cabinet member in the Obama Administration, Brennan couldn’t just conduct secretive investigations into a presidential campaign without Obama’s knowledge. If it were the case that Obama didn’t know, then that brings up a slew of even more concerning issues. But we all know that’s not the case because Obama was obsessive about his political image, and control was his number one concern. So that brings up the very concerning possibility, when did Obama instruct Brennan to go after Trump?
As time passes, it becomes more apparent that Brennan was the true puppet master, pulling the strings of many assets to destroy Donald Trump. With Obama’s blessing, Brennan set out to destroy an opposing political campaign illegally using the United States Intelligence Community’s weight. Consequently, the laws that protect Americans from an oppressive government were swept away in favor of a misguided greater good mentality.
