High-level Democrats and leftist media pundits are calling for truth and reconciliation commissions. What exactly do they mean? If Donald Trump loses, they want to create a system that prevents opposing views from seeing the light of day. We are currently witnessing the beginnings of such a system locking down people’s social media accounts, shuttering their bank accounts, and canceling people for stories the media and Democrats don’t like.
What do truth and facts mean to the left? The simple statement of truth and facts within politics is not a literal translation describing such a system’s true intent. What it means is their truth and their facts. It does not concern the actual truth, but the information they say is true. If you present something contrary to their ideological beliefs or narratives, you are purged from the system. They will then reactivate you only If you delete the article in question and admit wrongdoing; this is the case with the New York Post, which has been suspended from Facebook and Twitter for daring to report on the Biden families wrongdoing.
In the book 1984 by George Orwell, people live in a dystopian world that centers around the consequences of totalitarianism, mass surveillance, and the repressive regimentation of persons and behaviors within society. Moreover, it examines the role of truth and facts within politics and how the government manipulates them. This will become our future if democrats continue on their path of insanity while pushing to restrict people’s freedoms for political gain.
Democrats and media people are blinded by zealotry, constantly regurgitating false claims amongst themselves and calling it news. It is a cult of inside the beltway groupthink, and anyone the thinks differently must be purged. The left doesn’t want to watch videos or do simple searches for information that, in most instances, destroys their claims. The Hunter Biden saga is a perfect example of this.
So is everyone willing to be told what to think, or do you want to make up your own mind? These are challenging times we live in, and we must stay vigilant while standing up to the tyranny being perpetrated by some on the left. This country was created to protect our rights and give everyone a voice through freedom of speech. Without the freedom to express opposing views from a tyrannical government, how does anyone expect to create government change? This simple right is what lets us hold politicians accountable for their actions. Without it, the government will trample our rights and liberties, which have allowed this country to become a shining city on a hill.
