One of the first steps of tyranny is to create a system that provides the illusion of a mandate. If people believe their views are in the minority, they are less likely to speak out for fear of being ridiculed or harassed. Currently, this style of manipulation is being performed through a myriad of information sources such as social media and mainstream news to present false impressions through propaganda. The media’s support culminated in the dramatic manipulation and potential theft of the 2020 Presidential election by the left.
You and I are told we must choose between a left or right, but I suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down. Up to man’s age-old dream — the maximum of individual freedom consistent with order –or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism. Regardless of their sincerity, their humanitarian motives, those who would sacrifice freedom for security have embarked on this downward path.
Ronald Reagan
So what is propaganda, and what is its purpose? Propaganda is the use of Psychological Manipulation to generate perceptual fabrications and emotional reactions. Indoctrination is a means to seize control and power to the detriment of its victims. It is designed to seduce and persuade people by manipulating their unconscious mind, instinctive desires, and impulses. In the digital age, propagandists have been able to use this medium as an effective tool to spread disinformation and shape false narratives.
Totalitarianism, however, does not so much promise an age of faith as an age of schizophrenia. A society becomes totalitarian when its structure becomes flagrantly artificial: that is, when its ruling class has lost its function but succeeds in clinging to power by force or fraud. Such a society, no matter how long it persists, can never afford to become either tolerant or intellectually stable.
George Orwell
Because if you lived, as I did, several years under Nazi totalitarianism, and then 20 years in communist totalitarianism, you would certainly realize how precious freedom is, and how easy it is to lose your freedom.
Milos Forman
With the help of their allies, the left set the stage months in advance so that people would accept the theft of the Presidential election through massive fraud. By incessantly pushing false stories to propagate fears that Donald Trump would steal the election or not relinquish power after a resounding defeat, the left effectively shifted blame away from their actions. In war, militaries use psychological warfare to convince enemy troops that surrender is the best chance they have because it is better to capitulate than continuing to fight since their defeat is inevitable. In the Art of War, overwhelming wear down tactics are masterfully employed by those seeking to maintain their powerful influence over those vulnerable to exploitation. Propagating misleading information mixed with blatant lies in conjunction with gaslighting are tactics used to wear down those susceptible to misinformation. While manipulation isn’t new to politics, the level and sophistication of psychological warfare against the American people by the left and their media allies should concern everyone.
“The ease with which police state tactics have been employed and the equal ease with which most Americans have accepted them have been breathtaking.”
Dennis Prager
No longer in the business of reporting news, the media manufactures consent using subtle and not-so-subtle tactics, manipulating our conscious and subconscious minds to influence our opinions and behavior. People would be better served by being cautious when consuming modern media in any form. We must acknowledge that we are being lied to, and institutions once relied upon to provide news are anything but objective. They are paid sponsors of the self-appointed ruling class whose agenda is to bring about a socialistic utopia.
